Invitations
Invite team members to your organization with email-based invitations.
How it works
- Go to your organization Settings page
- Click Invite Member
- Enter the person's email address and select a role
- They'll receive an email invitation
Invitation flow
- The invited user receives an email with a link to join the organization
- If they don't have a Switchflag account, they'll be prompted to sign up first
- Once they accept, they're added to the organization with the assigned role
Expiry
Invitations expire after 48 hours. If the invitation expires, you'll need to send a new one.
Roles
When inviting, you choose the role for the new member:

|---|---|
| Admin | Manage projects, flags, and settings |
| Member | Read-only access |
The owner role cannot be assigned via invitation — it's reserved for the organization creator.
Revoking invitations
Pending invitations can be revoked from the Settings page before they're accepted.
