Invitations

Invite team members to your organization with email-based invitations.

How it works

  1. Go to your organization Settings page
  2. Click Invite Member
  3. Enter the person's email address and select a role
  4. They'll receive an email invitation

Invitation flow

  • The invited user receives an email with a link to join the organization
  • If they don't have a Switchflag account, they'll be prompted to sign up first
  • Once they accept, they're added to the organization with the assigned role

Expiry

Invitations expire after 48 hours. If the invitation expires, you'll need to send a new one.

Roles

When inviting, you choose the role for the new member:

RoleAccess
AdminManage projects, flags, and settings
MemberRead-only access

The owner role cannot be assigned via invitation — it's reserved for the organization creator.

Revoking invitations

Pending invitations can be revoked from the Settings page before they're accepted.
