Roles & Permissions

Organization roles — owner, admin, and member — and what each can do.

Roles

Every organization member has one of three roles:

OwnerFull access to everything. The user who created the organization.
AdminCan manage projects, flags, and organization settings.
MemberRead-only access to projects and flags.

Changing roles

Only the owner can change member roles. Navigate to the organization Settings page and click on a member to update their role.

Transfer ownership

To transfer ownership, the current owner must change another member's role to owner. There can only be one owner per organization.
